Graphic design has been present since there is a need to communicate through language arts.
This trail can be traced to prehistoric times / prehistoric, early civilization of mankind.

When humans began to make drawings?
 African and European nations began in the years 3500-4000 BC by making paintings on cave wall
Lascaux cave wall carvings in France, 35.000-4000 BC is an example would be the publication of visual communication (language form).

Who is the inventor of letters Alphabet? the Phoenician / PUNESIA / Phoenician
   Alphabet is a derivative of 3100 BC Egyptian hieroglyphs system.
   The first alphabet was created by the Phoenicians / punesia / Phoenician, about 1000 years BC,
   which is located between Lebanon and Syria.

   Aleph (Alpha, Alpha)
   Derived from Proto-Point System Kaanan
   Aleph in West Semitic languages means "Cow"
   Simplification of symbols / hieroglyphs of "Cow Head"
  Beth (Beth, Beta)
   Bet in Semitic languages means "House"
   (Hebrews / Jews: Bayit, Arabic: Bayt)

The year 403 BC perfected by the Greeks, who named the first and second letters alpha and beta. The word "alphabet" which means the alphabet comes from two words.
